Postcard Placed in the Package I sent to Mexico I bought some tangerines at the farmer’s market today. I’m sorry I can’t send you more, but postage just went up again and all these letters are getting lost in the mail I wish you could have seen how dark the figs were this year the juice is still lingering in the back house of my sovereign mouth I never told you when I planted those trees because I thought your hands were too kind for this earth © Connie Post |
