Ink Stained

The words you left me covered in -
the crevice of my lip, that hidden place
deep in the hip - are all raised and black,
more ornate than the tattoo of their meaning.
i am a braille of want and wanting,
a calligraphy of invitations,
welcome and thank you notes.
