The Editors are...



April Michelle Bratten was born in Marrero, Louisiana.
As a military child, she moved a lot in her youth, residing in Charleston, SC,
Virginia Beach, VA, and Incirlik, Turkey. April currently lives in Minot,
North Dakota, and will remain there until the city life once again calls
her name.

April has been included in several online and print
publications such as The Orange Room Review, Boston
Literary Magazine, Leaf Garden Press, Full of Crow,
The Poetry Warrior, Red Fez, Counterexample Poetics,
Splash of Red, The Prick of the Spindle, Kill Poet,
BluePrintReview, The Stray Branch, Midnight Screaming,
Thick With Conviction, Decanto Magazine, Greenbeard, Hobo
Camp Review, Sein Und Werden, and many more. April was
also included in the 2008 Zygote Abstract, which was published
by Red Pulp Underground.

April is currently working on getting her first full length manuscript
published as well as completing a flipbook chapbook with writer
Frank Reardon.


As a confessional poet, Stephanie Anderson seeks to depict the
subjective emotions and responses that objects and events arouse
in the human heart, bringing humanity in touch with the depth of
their emotion. She is inspired most by the Eastern European poets,
such as Nina Cassian, Nichita Stanescu, Anna Akhmatova, Olga Berggolts,
Bella Akhmadulina, Natalya Gorbanevskaya, Yevgeny Yevteshenko and
Marina Tsvetaeva.

Her poetry has been published in several print and online magazines,
including Volume Magazine, Eclectica Magazine, Decanto, Clean Sheets,
Poetry Monthly, Poetic Hours Magazine, The Flutter Poetry Journal, The
Wilderness House Literary Review, The Rose and Thorn, Viral Cat, Right
Hand Pointing, Decompression, The Linnet's Wings, Danse Macabre, and Leaf
Garden Press.

She is working on a collection of "Southern" poems.


Besides writing poetry, Stephanie is the mother of two boys. She lives
in Tennessee.
