Based in the Tri-City area outside of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Elle D. Ablo is an artist who primarily works with mixed media (collage, digital art, stencil drawing/spray-painting, and more), as well as installations, video, and pyrography. Drawing on her diverse heritage, Canadian upbringing, intersectional identity, and place within the current world, she aims to encourage viewers to see beyond what they first perceive and consider the various layers and perspectives that can be found within each piece.
