Bailey Berendsen is a Low Pop-Surrealist artist, illustrator, and author living and creating in California. She focuses on a wide array of mixed media work that is inspired by her two children, animals, fairy tales, folklore, and strange dark thoughts. Recently her work has been shown with Limner Gallery, FE Gallery, and 9th Gallery. Her creations can also be found in private collections across the United States and overseas. She is constantly researching new ways to mix media to create the creepy cute portraits that intrigue her audience.

The art she produces is always creative, evocative and unique. Bailey can produce works that embody the sweetness of a child, and in an instant produce works that are dark and delightfully bizarre. In addition, her whimsical pet portraits never fail to capture the true spirit of the subject. Her mind is most definitely a boiling cauldron of ideas that will hopefully entertain for years to come.
