I was inspired by the sale of the family home I grew up in in Toronto to wonder if these old houses retain any traces of the lives and emotions of their former inhabitants. In part to deal with my own feelings about losing my parents during the year, I set out to explore this notion in this series I call Suburban Ghosts.

Bruce Walker is a photographer and artist with a particular interest in portraiture and figurative work. Sometimes he strays into the world of nature and lately he has been creating a fusion of figure and natural material.
