fissure:

we have holistic beans burnishing our girdles
the very seeds of compilation fill our irons and
griddles. we know no different method of mania -
no other cranky life mantra -
"i am whipped, i am whipped, i am whipped"
"i am harped, i am harped, i am harped"
"i am sharked, i am sharked, i am sharked"
nothing worse, nothing better
nothing for worse, nothing for better
marriage proposals go awry - there's not
another way for anything to begin but by mistake
i wish the sky to hold some mood alteration over my soul
but not a lot, not an awful lot, not more than me

we fish upon stars
