Issue Illustrator | Perrin Clore Duncan
Each issue of Up the Staircase Quarterly features an Issue Illustrator, an artist whose work was chosen to pair with and complement the poetry of the quarter. Issue #43's artist is Perrin Clore Duncan.

Perrin Clore Duncan is an abstract painter born and raised in Edmond, Oklahoma, U.S.A. In May of 2017, Perrin graduated Cum Laude from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Studio Art (Majors) and Spanish (Minor). Perrin currently resides across the Atlantic Ocean in County Clare, Ireland as she pursues a Master of Fine Arts at Burren College of Art with an anticipated graduation of April 2019. Perrin has led art workshops in Ireland for artists ranging in age and skill level. In March of 2018, she spent two weeks in London as an exchange student at the Royal College of Art. She has exhibited her work in Greencastle, Indiana, Denver, Colorado, Galway and Ballyvaughan, Ireland and her work has been published in various international online and print publications.
